It was Scott's idea to get married on the beautiful Central Coast as a tribute to our days at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Once that was decided, Jennifer began researching for the perfect venue and it was love at first sight.
Details:
The Ceremony will be located on grass, followed by a Cocktail Hour outside among the Lemon Tree Orchard and Market Lights.
The Reception will follow with dinner and dancing inside the Dana Powers Barn.
Attire:
The attire for our wedding is "Semi-Formal". Although October is a beautiful time of year on the Central Coast, you may discover a shawl can be handy after the sun sets. Also, a lot of the activities are happening outside, please make sure you're wearing appropriate shoes to have a good time and enjoy all the festivities.
According to The Knot, "Semi-Formal" is defined as:
For the Men: A suit and tie, dark or light depending on the season and time of day.
For the Women: A cocktail dress or a dressy skirt and top.
